There comes a point in our lives as Christians where we find a need to feel a sense of community or belongingness while deepening our relationship with God.

When this happens, we usually turn to the Bible for guidance, inspiration, and to learn about God’s love and teachings. But for many of us, studying it alone is quite difficult.

At Warehouse Christian Ministries, we understand this need. That’s why we offer and urge the community in Sacramento to join our Bible study fellowship lessons so they can learn more about God while forming a second family.

If you’re looking to deepen your faith with the help of a community, here’s what you can expect from our Bible study fellowship lessons.

Gain knowledge

Joining a Bible study fellowship is an opportunity to glean wisdom from God’s Word since you get to study each verse, chapter, and book with other people.

The Bible study fellowship is geared towards learning scripture and having a better understanding of God’s Word to foster a deeper relationship with the Lord and at the same time, receive guidance, insights, and learnings from fellow members of the church.

At Warehouse Christian Ministries, we believe that the Bible is the revealed will of God and is the absolute and infallible authority in all matters of faith.

Therefore, to deepen our relationship with God, it is important that we study the Bible. In the book of Joshua 1:8, it says

‘Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful’

Nurture your spirituality

The Bible is a source of guidance, inspiration, and wisdom. When we read the Bible, we don’t only learn more about God but also nourish our spirit.

Participating in Bible study fellowships is a way to feed your soul and nurture your spirituality. It is an opportunity to focus on your faith, reflect on God’s Word and teachings, as well as the way you live your life.

As it says in the book of Psalms 119:105

“Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.”

Make new friends and family

When you join a Bible study fellowship, you don’t only deepen your relationship with God, you also develop friendships and essentially form a second family.

Learning about the Bible together and sharing reflections creates a safe space where you and other members can gain comfort and the needed encouragement in difficult times.

“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”

Hebrews 10:24-25

At Warehouse Christian Ministries, we have small group studies where you can explore the Bible with a greater sense of community.

We have a Bible study fellowship program for everyone — men, women, couples, new Christians, non-believers, children, preteens, and teens. We believe that having a diverse congregation studying the Word of God is an effective way of nurturing our spirituality while developing a loving and warm community of believers.
